I’m so glad you are here. I have been praying for God to divinely allow our paths to cross through these devotionals so you are an answer to prayer!  Here are a few things about me: I’m a mom of two little boys, a wife, an executive assistant, a pastor, and I hope to be a friend to you if we aren’t already. 

I had my firstborn in November 2019 and it took me several months to realize that I was struggling. Truthfully, I didn’t feel the immediate connection with my son the way that I expected to… On top of that, I felt disconnected from God and everyone else including myself. I felt so guilty for holding precious life in my arms, yet harboring this unexplainable despair. 

There was little capacity or time to intentionally read the Word or pray, but to my surprise, that didn’t stop God from pursuing me. He began to speak life over my lonely, exhausted soul. Even more astonishing is that now I get to share those Holy Spirit breathed encouragements with you on your journey! 

Please know that the same gentle, yet persistent God is pursuing you in this season. Don’t allow shame to convince you that you can’t hear from Him because you didn't pray or read enough. I'm believing that He meets you right where you're at through these devotionals.
